CHECK-IN/OUT POLICIES
- At least one guest must be 18 years or older with photo identification to check-in.
- Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- The Hotel reserves the right to check photo identification.
- Check-in from 14:00.
(Should you arrive prior to the normal check-in time, the Front Desk will be available to assist in storing your luggage until check-in is available.)
- Check-out by 10:00.
(Late check-out or day-use of rooms may be possible at an additional charge and upon availability. Please check with Front Desk at least 24 hours prior to your departure.)
BOOKING POLICIES
- Infants up to 6 years may stay free of charge in parents' room in a cot, or by sharing a bed (the number of children depens on the room type).
- A valid credit card is required to secure all reservations.
・Bookings of 3 nights or more
- Your credit card will automatically be charged a 10% non-refundable deposit at the time of making the booking
- All reservations are required to be paid in full two months prior to check-in date. The remaining balance will be charged automatically to the credit card.
- For reservations made within two months of the check-in date, your credit card will automatically be charged a full amount within 48 hours of making the booking.
・Bookings of less than 2 nights
- All reservations are required to be paid in full one week prior to check-in date and will be charged automatically to the credit card.
- For reservations made within one week of the check-in date, your credit card will automatically be charged a full amount within 48 hours of making the booking.
GENERAL POLICIES
- All guests included in a confirmed reservation agree to respect local Japanese culture and customs.
- The Hotel reserves the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying any damage or soiling, caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the Hotel's property or structure.
- Guests are recommended to keep their valuables in the in-room safe or in the Safe Deposit Box provided at the Front Desk. The Hotel shall not be liable for the loss of money or other personal valuables during your stay.
- Pets are not allowed in any hotel rooms, areas or facilities.
- Because of the nature of our hotel, we request guests to refrain from playing loud music, and making noise that would disturb the other guests, from 10:00pm.
- Smoking is possible outside the front of the hotel.
- Parking is available across the street in the Akakura Kanko Ski Resort parking lot (front left area) at a rate of 1,000 yen per day, per car.
- Luggage transfer service is available through Yamato Black Cat service. Luggage transfer payment needs to be paid in cash at the front desk.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
- Cancellations are possible by emailing [email protected] or by contacting your travel consultant.
- The policies below apply for all cancelations, regardless of reason. E.g. if cancelation is required due to covid sickness or travel issues the policy still applies.
- Cancellation frees will be charged to your credit card.
・Bookings of 3 nights or more
- Cancellations made more than 2 months prior to check-in incur a 10% cancellation fee of the hotel booking amount (the 10% deposit).
- Cancellations made 2 months to 15 days prior to check-in will incur a 25% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made 14 to 8 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to check-in and ‘No Shows’ will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
・Bookings of 2 nights or less
- Cancellations made 7 to 4 days prior to check-in will incur a 25% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made 3 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made 2 days or less prior to check-in and ‘No Shows’ will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
・No Snow / Low Snow
- Please note that should you wish to cancel your booking due to no/low snow our regular cancellation policy as above will apply.
- Snow can be low during the first week to 10 days of the winter season (opening day until around Dec 24th). In case of low snow in Akakura we will be glad to assist with transport arrangements to any other local resorts for the best experience.
